RTWDANCE is a registered 501 (c) 3 nonprofit contemporary dance organization committed to eradicating American societal dualism—“us vs. them”—through original dance productions and free community-centered movement programs.
Our Story
2025 was a real pivotal turning point for founder and Artistic Director Randolph Ward, — not just professionally, but personally. After almost a decade of finding the inner strength to trust his own voice, a decisive leap was made: He officially registered RTWDANCE as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This moment is about me responding to a — socio-political climate that does not respect creative autonomy. Our work is driven by a desire to dismantle the deeply rooted dualisms in American language that separate us into “Us vs. Them.” These divisions are not abstract ideas. They live in cultural scripts that quietly teach us how to see and experience one another.”
